Role & Responsibilities

• Understand business and functional requirements while contributing to test planning activities.
• Perform manual testing, including functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Design, execute, and maintain test cases, documenting test results meticulously.
• Assist in developing and executing automation test scripts using Karate (API testing) and Playwright (UI testing).
• Execute automated test suites and analyze the results effectively.
• Log, track, and retest defects using defect tracking tools.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and senior QA members to ensure quality deliverables.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Continuously enhance testing skills and adapt to new QA tools and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Engineering graduate, MCA, or a related field with 0-2 years of experience.
• Basic understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience or project exposure to manual testing.
• Basic knowledge of API automation using Karate.
• Introductory experience with Playwright or similar UI automation tools.
• Understanding of test case design and the defect lifecycle.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
