The Technical Implementation team, part of Mastercard’s Data & Services group, supports analytics and consulting engagements by managing data acquisition, integration, and transformation for the Test & Learn platform.
This team works with global clients, leveraging Big Data analytics to improve business decision-making across industries.
🎯 Role Overview
As a Data Engineer, you will work on data management aspects of global client engagements and deliver high-quality, scalable ETL and data solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams while contributing to a high-performance, trust-based work environment.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, automate, and maintain large-scale enterprise ETL processes
- Act as a data subject-matter expert within the team
- Deliver accurate, robust, and high-value data solutions across multiple clients
- Manage data acquisition, integration, and transformation pipelines
- Apply best practices including source control, code reviews, data validation, and testing
- Build strong working relationships with global stakeholders and client teams
- Ensure compliance with Mastercard policies, security standards, and regulations
- Collaborate on process improvements for complex global solutions
👤 Required Qualifications & Skills
🎓 Education
- BE / BTech in any discipline
🔧 Technical Skills
- Strong experience with RDBMS technologies
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with SSIS stack and .NET
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language:
- Python
- VB Script
- Perl
🧠 Professional Skills
- Excellent English communication (written & verbal)
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
