🎯 Role Overview
As an Automation Engineer, you will design and implement robust automation frameworks for API testing, ensure high-quality releases, and collaborate closely with development and QA teams to deliver reliable banking and insurance applications.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and REST Assured
- Perform API automation testing and validate responses using JSON/XML
- Execute functional, regression, and integration testing
- Analyze test results, log defects, and work with developers on resolution
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and automation best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality across the SDLC
🛠️ Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Java programming
- Hands-on experience with REST Assured for API automation
- Solid understanding of API testing concepts, HTTP methods, JSON, and XML
- Experience with TestNG / JUnit, Maven / Gradle
