Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct automation testing of web applications and web services.
- Utilize SQL to write medium/complex join queries for data validation.
- Understand and apply concepts of JSON, XML, REST, and SOAP.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Docker is a plus.
- Transform requirements into test cases and ET charters.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including developers and functional analysts.
- Perform various types of testing, including sanity, functional, exploratory, integration, and system testing.
- Ensure adherence to organization-defined processes and documentation standards.
- Communicate effectively regarding issues and share status reports with stakeholders.
- Support project planning for test schedules and adhere to timelines.
- Participate in user story reviews to provide insights on functional requirements and potential issues.
- Contribute to production releases during weekends.
- Demonstrated experience in automation testing using Selenium and C# is essential.
Qualifications & Skills
- 0-4 years of experience in Manual Testing, Automation Testing, Integration Testing, and Web API Testing.
- Hands-on experience with web API testing tools such as SOAP and REST.
- Proficiency in services testing tools like RestSharp, Fiddler, Postman, and JSON Lint.
- Experience with C#, Selenium, Specflow, or other BDD frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI tools such as Azure DevOps and Git.
- Understanding database and SQL skills.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- A degree in BE/MCA or any equivalent.
