Key Roles & Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will involve designing high-impact performance tests and collaborating across teams. Here’s what you’ll do:

• Design, develop, and execute performance test plans and scripts for Splunk Enterprise Security.
• Utilize JMeter and other tools to simulate realistic workloads and measure system behavior under load.
• Develop automation frameworks using Python, Golang, and JavaScript for continuous testing.
• Perform Linux-based system monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning.
• Collaborate with dev, security, and ops teams to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
• Analyze results, generate reports, and present findings to stakeholders.
• Support integration testing with Cisco security products.
• Maintain test environments with deployment automation scripting.
• Contribute to incident investigations and root cause analysis.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Cisco is looking for hands-on experts. Must-haves include:

• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and test development.
• Strong Linux experience, including shell scripting and performance monitoring.
• Hands-on with JMeter or equivalent performance testing tools.
• Knowledge of Golang for test utilities.
• Familiarity with JavaScript in Splunk environments.
• Ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot issues.
