The company is currently seeking a talented Software Quality Engineer (IC IV) to join its multi-functional Agile team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality of Clinisys’s products through user-centric automation and meticulous testing practices.
As a Quality Engineer at Clinisys, you will engage in hands-on testing, track and validate issues, and mentor junior analysts, making your contributions crucial for the delivery of reliable healthcare solutions. Role & Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and execute both manual and automated test cases using appropriate test management tools.
- Analyze defects and perform root-cause analysis in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Leverage domain knowledge in scientific and healthcare settings to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies and client feedback sessions to align quality efforts with project goals.
- Document clear steps to reproduce issues and ensure traceability to requirements.
- Apply risk-based testing techniques to prioritize testing efforts and optimize efficiency.
- Maintain adherence to internal quality standards and processes.
- Review technical documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience with UI automation tools such as Playwright.
- Familiarity with AI-based testing tools or techniques that enhance testing efficiency.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Java for automation scripting.
- Understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect management processes.
- Strong time management abilities and a capacity for independent work.
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
- 2–5 years of experience in software development life cycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and quality assurance.
