Key Responsibilities
As a Senior iOS Engineer at AT&T, you will be responsible for both technical leadership and hands-on development:
- Leading technical vision, architecture, and implementation of native iOS applications
- Designing scalable, maintainable solutions using Swift, SwiftUI, and SwiftData
- Making architectural decisions using patterns such as MVVM, VIPER, or Clean Architecture
- Enforcing best practices for code quality, security, test automation, and deployment
- Integrating REST APIs, GraphQL, and third-party SDKs with a focus on performance and security
- Driving CI/CD pipelines using tools like Fastlane, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
- Overseeing App Store deployment, provisioning, and release management
- Mentoring junior engineers and conducting code reviews
- Collaborating with product, design, and backend teams to align technical solutions with business goals
- Communicating technical risks, progress, and decisions to stakeholders
Required Skills & Competencies
Core Technical Skills
- Expert-level proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, Objective-C, and native iOS frameworks
- Deep understanding of Xcode, iOS SDK, and the iOS application lifecycle
- Strong experience with architectural patterns (MVVM, VIPER, Clean Architecture)
- Advanced debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills
Platform & Tooling
