🌟 About the Role
As a Senior Data Modeler, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and governing enterprise-wide data models across OLTP, OLAP, and cloud environments. You will work closely with business, engineering, and architecture teams to build efficient, scalable, and future-proof data assets.
This role requires strong hands-on modeling expertise, architectural thinking, cloud data experience, and the ability to lead projects from concept to implementation.
💼 What You’ll Do
- Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for relational & analytical systems (OLTP, OLAP, DWH).
- Implement Medallion Architecture, Dimensional Modeling, and Data Vault 2.0.
- Translate business requirements into data specifications, mappings, lineage, and metadata structures.
- Build and optimize cloud-based solutions using Snowflake, BigQuery, and GCP.
- Establish and lead data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
- Partner with solution architects, business teams, and engineering squads.
- Guide and mentor junior data modelers and developers.
- Contribute to large-scale cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
🎯 What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture and enterprise data modeling.
- Expertise in ER Modeling, Star & Snowflake schemas, OLTP/OLAP methodologies.
- Strong hands-on cloud experience with Snowflake, Google BigQuery, and GCP.
- Advanced SQL skills, including performance tuning and data transformations (ETL/ELT).
- Experience in BFSI, Insurance, or Healthcare domains (preferred).
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder interaction abilities.
